WILD CHILD Session: Emily, Part 1

Last November, when the very first Wild Child Session was posted and advertised, an old friend reached out to me. Emily, who I met my freshman year of high school, was saving up so she could do a Wild Child shoot with me, and this June, it finally came to life!

Emily is a free spirit. She's mysterious and open-hearted and is passionately in love with the world around her and its beauty. I'm always so taken aback at how lucky I am to have friends with qualities such as these.

Our shoot spanned two days (thanks to the reliable Florida afternoon thunderstorms!), and we shot in both Blue Springs park and on the Wekiwa campgrounds, two of my favorite spots in Central Florida. They're also two of the most underrated spots in Central Florida. Even though Emily and I hadn't seen each other in years, we picked up right where we left off and spent the day laughing and exploring. It was perfect!

Here are some of my favorites from part one of her Wild Child shoot, our day at Blue Springs! Stay tuned for part two, and enjoy.

Cancun

The way I like to vacation is with people I love, where no one can contact me, except via smoke signal, and even then, I'd be too far away to see. No cell signal and too-expensive-and-slow-to-use wifi is utter perfection to me.

This was a week for me to reconnect with my thoughts, uninterrupted by schedule and the repetition of every day life. It was a week for me to set intention for the near future.

I was blessed to go on this adventure with Justin, and I can't wait to slowly but surely conquer the world with my camera and people that make my world complete. Here are my favorite snapshots from Cancun.
