Saturday morning with Justin Leef

After my first Saturday morning session last week with Jenna, I thought I'd start a new project for myself. My project is simply to have structured practice for portrait photography (and getting up earlier on Saturdays -- that's a joke. Kind of/not really) so I'm trying to arrange shoots for every Saturday morning until my 23rd birthday.

My birthday is July 30th. That's a lot of Saturdays.

So, if any of you out there reading this are in the Atlanta area, email or text me if you're at all interested in any of the following: having your face on my blog, getting free portraits done, or getting up early and sharing coffee with me while I try to make you laugh.

Now, let me introduce you to Justin Leef, my sweet boyfriend. He is currently ending his first year in law school at Georgia State, is passionate about making others happy, and is always pushing me to challenge myself.  This guy let me come to his house at 6 am to wake him up on a Saturday, drag him out of bed and put him in front of a camera, up at the Chattahoochee River Trail. These are some of the photos that I took.

Saturday morning with Jenna

This weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to take pictures of my best friend, Jenna in her awesome Virginia Highlands apartment.

Easily one of the most beautiful people I know, it would be nearly impossible to not fall in love with every photo of her. In between sips of coffee and laughing at each other (because that's what we do best), these were some of the shots I took of my sweet, sweet friend in some perfect morning light.
