Senior Session with Amelia Riley

Hey y'all!! I am so excited to introduce to you my latest senior, Amelia Riley. She just graduated from Winter Park High School and is Bama bound in the fall! I've known Amelia since she was about five years old. She is one of my oldest friend's little sisters, and I have memories of sleepovers and little Amelia running around :) She's grown up into an absolutely stunning young woman with a pure heart, and she's hilarious.

All I can say is wow.

This weekend is going to be absolutely nuts.  I'm already exhausted but I'm exhausted and in my perfectly happy place nonetheless :) I had a a seven and a half hour drive from Atlanta, went straight to a senior session at Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park, now I'm finally home in for some late-night editing. Tomorrow I've got a morning session with my parents, and then I'm shooting video at Sara Jewett's wedding!! Exciting stuff happening over here, and I can't wait to share it all with you!

I didn't post a Saturday morning session last weekend, because I was assisting shooting at a wedding! I was doing some behind-the-scenes videography of my new friend over at Kelly Anne Photography. (Check her stuff out- she's so talented and one of the funniest, sassiest, most driven girls I know). Photos and the video from that shoot may be going up soon.

So... in lieu of me not having something up from last weekend... here's my latest behind-the-scenes video from a photoshoot that my other new friend, Michelle of MP Photographie put on. (The images she shot just got published: here's the link!!)

Saturday afternoon with Dar-Wei Chen (& Carolyn Levitan)

This week, my usually long early Saturday morning session was a super-quick Saturday afternoon session, abbreviated by poor weather. My roommate, Carolyn, came with me to meet my old friend from high school, Dar-Wei Chen. Dar-Wei recently reached out to me after seeing some of my blog posts and volunteered to be featured on my blog. Dar-Wei is currently ending his second year of a six year doctorate program at Georgia Tech. 

He's awesome, very kind, and crazy smart. Dar-Wei is also incredibly humble, so he'd never tell you that, but it's true. And as Carolyn and I got to witness firsthand, he's pretty slick with a deck of cards.
