Double vision

In an effort to get more pretty prints on my walls in my apartment, I've been exploring double exposure edits with some of my shots. Slightly haunting and eery. Nonetheless, still beautiful.

My best friend and photo muse, Morgan, reminded me that about a year ago I made this mix for her. So I'm sharing it with you all! Happy summer.

Senior Session with Amelia Riley

Hey y'all!! I am so excited to introduce to you my latest senior, Amelia Riley. She just graduated from Winter Park High School and is Bama bound in the fall! I've known Amelia since she was about five years old. She is one of my oldest friend's little sisters, and I have memories of sleepovers and little Amelia running around :) She's grown up into an absolutely stunning young woman with a pure heart, and she's hilarious.

Here are my favorite images from our shoot this past Friday evening. Head over to my portfolio to see the full set of images! (Here is the link) More images coming soon from my latest Saturday morning session featuring one of my all time favorite couples on earth... (If you need a hint, here it is: I call them Mom and Dad).

PS: Happy Memorial Day! Here's to our those who have helped establish and continue to protect your freedom.

Saturday afternoon with Dar-Wei Chen (& Carolyn Levitan)

This week, my usually long early Saturday morning session was a super-quick Saturday afternoon session, abbreviated by poor weather. My roommate, Carolyn, came with me to meet my old friend from high school, Dar-Wei Chen. Dar-Wei recently reached out to me after seeing some of my blog posts and volunteered to be featured on my blog. Dar-Wei is currently ending his second year of a six year doctorate program at Georgia Tech.

He's awesome, very kind, and crazy smart. Dar-Wei is also incredibly humble, so he'd never tell you that, but it's true. And as Carolyn and I got to witness firsthand, he's pretty slick with a deck of cards.

So, here are the few photos I got from our short Saturday afternoon session with an old friend and my roommate.
