Will & Joy: San Souci Farm Wedding

Will Fortanbary: Incredibly driven. Loyal and loving.  Honest. Wants to change the world.

Joy Gannaway: Whip-smart. Radiant. Compassionate. Strong, and absolutely stunning. (The puns never cease, so I will also say she is JOYFUL).

Words cannot describe how perfect this day was.

From the details of the flowers, Joy in her perfect dress, the beautiful farm and that killer sunset sunset, to how hilarious the groomsmen were, the stunning and sweet bridesmaids, and just how ridiculously in love Will and Joy were. Their happiness was infectious and it undoubtedly made the entire day such an incredible gift to be a part of.

These two are an incredible example of a Christian couple who follow the path that God has set out for them. They are always smiling, always loving and unfailingly faithful, and it was clear that their friends and family looked on at their marriage in awe and wonder. I am so excited for them on the start of their journey together and I cannot wait to see where their love for each other and God takes them!

Here are some of the images from their awesome day, which also happened to be Will's birthday. So happy birthday and happy wedding day to Will and Joy Fortanbary!

Happily ever after to the sweetest couple in the world.

Nina & Joey -- Winter Park Florida wedding photographer

It is so crazy the way life works sometimes.

I met Nina way back in 1999, at Lakemont Elementary, and we graduated high school in the same class from Winter Park High.  If you had told my nine-year-old self that I would be spending the day with Nina Royal on her wedding day, I would have thought you were insane. I love how people easily come back into your life as if they never left!

I am so glad that Nina has found her person. This was a day filled with love and happiness, and I am so excited to see what Nina and Joey do in their shared life ahead of them. They are a blast, and crazy in love. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Cheers: To Nina & Joey! XO!

Happily ever after!

An Afternoon in Decatur

We may as well declare it a national holiday. I finally convinced my roommate to let me take pictures of her. "We've only lived together for a year... it's about time I let you take my picture," she said. Yeah. You think?!

Carolyn and I like going on adventures around Atlanta and discovering new places, and so we could kill two birds with one stone, we set off for Decatur. We'd been once or twice but not for long, and we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked to. So that's what this day was for!

Naturally, we stopped to get something from a bakery, because we've both got an insatiable sweet tooth. And from our experience, we highly recommend anything from Cakes & Ale's bake shop. We got a homemade oatmeal cream pie, and even though the pictures make it look like Carolyn ate it all, she basically only had one bite.

Just FYI, in the photos where Carolyn is smiling, it's probably because she's laughing at me, or at herself. I love you Carolyn!!
